Ben Leeper owns The Farmacy Botanical Shoppe and he is also the organizer of the Alamo Hemp Tours. As a tour guide, Leeper takes interested people on a bus to five locations around San Antonio.
Those five locations are selected on the basis of their specialization in making different products from industrial hemp or hemp-based cannabidiol (CBD).

He goes on to add that just as there are a myriad of uses of CBD, hemp too has lots of possible applications. He points out some of the industries that are likely to spring up as a result of the legalization of industrial hemp. These include the textiles industry, plastics industry, and the making of biofuels and cardboard from hemp.
Ben Leeper sees the beginning of an economic boom and he wants to educate as many people about that boom as he possibly can through his hemp tours.
Leeper says that the people who go on the tours that he organizes take that opportunity to hang out, relax and enjoy the experience of learning about hemp. The tours also serve to bring community members together and forge stronger bonds since the people who meet and interact for the first time during the tours have a chance to create lasting relationships, something that will be helpful when those people enter the hemp industry as players at various levels.
